Green Thumbs Needed in Hospital Gardens

Green Thumbs Needed in Hospital Gardens

The Sheridan Memorial Hospital Foundation is looking for community members to roll up their sleeves this weekend and give the hospital gardens a make-over.

That was Ada Kirven, foundation director. She also said the foundation will have some tools available, but volunteers are also encouraged to bring their own gloves and gardening tools if available. The foundation will provide a free lunch to Saturday's volunteers. Kirven said the pruning will begin at 9. For more information or to RSVP, call 673-2417.
