Great Lakes Airlines Leaves Laramie; SkyWest To Take Over

Laramie will get a new air carrier starting in November.

The Laramie airport has decided to end its affiliation with Great Lakes Airlines and will instead be offering SkyWest as its carrier.

Wyoming Public Radio reports the number of flights out of Laramie will decline from three to two per day. Airport Manager Jack Skinner says the planes will be bigger than the commercial aircraft currently serving the Laramie airport.

Sky will serve Laramie as United Express.
