Great Horned Owl Gets A Second Chance

Great Horned Owl Gets A Second Chance

Recently in Gillette, the Wyoming Game and Fish Department received a report of a Great Horned Owl that was found in an oil drum. Luckily they were able to get the bird cleaned up and back into the wild, according to Bud Stewart, Sheridan Region Game and Fish Public Information Specialist.

Stewart said that this case is an example of why calling the professionals with the Game and Fish Department is the first course of action a citizen should do when they see wildlife threatened.
