The official announcement that firearms manufacturer Weatherby, Inc, would be moving their manufacturing operations and headquarters to Sheridan came shortly after 5 pm Tuesday from the SHOT Show in Las Vegas.

Governor Matt Mead said that Weatherby relocating to Wyoming has far-reaching impacts for not only Sheridan, but the state as a whole.

Weatherby President, Adam Weatherby, said that he is looking forward to growing the business in Sheridan.

Founded in 1945 by Adam’s grandfather, Roy Weatherby, the family-owned and operated business has built a brand synonymous with quality craftsmanship, a superior fit and finish and ballistic superiority.
