Governor’s Office Provides Update on Hemp Program

The Office of Governor Mark Gordon and the Wyoming Department of Agriculture have released an update on the current status of the state’s hemp program according to a release. They felt the update was needed as a response to a high level of statewide interest in the program that was authorized by the legislature in the session earlier this year.

Currently the State is waiting for the U.S. Department of Agriculture to issue regulations and review Wyoming’s plan that was completed in April. The public can find background information, the status update, and a list of frequently asked questions about the program through a link on the Governor’s website.
