Wyoming Governor Matt Mead and Sheridan based Advanced Communications Technology have announced that ACT will be installing a new fiber optics line from Casper to the Colorado border. ACT General Manager Aaron Sopko says that they've been working on this project for the past four years and that the fiber optic network expansion has the potential to benefit many businesses and communities around the state.

Sopko talks about the advantage of having Governor Mead champion the expansion of broadband services throughout the state.

Sopko said that ACT will begin installing the new fiber in July and expect to have the project completed in early 2015.
