Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon recently expressed his concern over the funding shortfall facing the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

Gordon said that he's spoken with WYDOT Director Luke Reiner about identifying priorities to help address the $135 million shortfall.

According to the Federal Highway Administration, the U.S. Senate last month approved legislation repealing part of the 2015 Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act that would have rescinded approximately nearly 8 billion in funding for local governments for highway maintenance. The legislation is awaiting President Donald Trump's signature.
