A recent fundraiser brought in $15,000 to be used for Sheridan’s Goose Creek Restoration project. Organizers of the Goose Creek Cup polo games held over the weekend have deemed the event a huge success.

The Goose Creek Cup is the highest-rated polo match played in the United States in the summer, according to the Downtown Sheridan Association that organized the event.

The event brought in a crowd of more than 400 people to the Flying H polo fields in Big Horn. The Bud Light Team won 7-5 against the Coca Cola Team. Most Valuable Player, sponsored by the Powder Horn, was awarded to Sugar Erskine. His horse, Laguna, received the Best Playing Pony award, sponsored by the Powder Horn.
