The Downtown Development Authority was created in 2015 to work with the Downtown Sheridan Association to make improvements to the downtown area and focus on projects that benefit the entire community.

Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller said that the City is currently taking a look at what the future holds for the DDA.

Mayor Miller said that determining what to do with the DDA is a complex issue.

City Attorney Brendon Kerns, at a City Council study session this week, said that there are several options that the Council has in regard to the future of the DDA.

The Council is expected to make a decision on the DDA at one of their regularly scheduled meetings in July.
