UPDATE: Frackelton's Raises Nearly $15K for Food Group

UPDATE: Monday night's Dining for a Cause fundraiser at Frackelton's for The Food Group raised $500 more than last year's for the same organization -- $14,700. A total of 579 guests were served.


The atmosphere was electric as diners showed up in droves at Frackelton’s Restaurant Monday night, all in support of “Dining for a Cause.” One Hundred percent of all lunch and dinner sales plus gratuities went to support the Food Group, a local organization that provides weekend backpacks of food for community children who might otherwise have little to eat.

Rebecca Attebury works at the Junior High with Missy Huber who directs the Food Group. She stands behind what the Food Group does.

Joni Zowada is a teacher and said the Food Group is vital to making sure children have food.

Executive Chef at Frackelton’s, Cole Evans said the staff totally support Dining for a Cause.

The Food Group spends nearly $10,000 each month providing food for area children.
