Free TiPS Training Offered In Two County Locations

The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office is planning two TiPS Training days for free to any employee working in the alcoholic beverage service industry in Sheridan County. Sheriff Allen Thompson shared more about the acronym TiPS.

An important piece of this training is learning when an individual has reached a limit where they need to be cut off from more drinks.

The first training will be Tuesday evening from 4-8pm at the Powderhorn Clubhouse and the second will be on January 23 at the Tongue River Valley Community Center in Dayton from 2-6pm. RSVPs are required so that they can prepare enough training materials for every participant. You can do so by calling the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office.
