Forsberg Exhibit Features Images of the Great Plains

The stare of a “fierce little owl” will stop you in your tracks at Fulmer Public Library. ‘Balancing Act’ -- Burrowing Owl’ is one of some 20 images by renowned conservationist and wildlife photographer Michael Forsberg currently on display at the library’s second floor gallery.

Forsberg received the Ansel Adams Award for Conservation Photography in 2017; and his images have been selected for National Geographic, Audubon, and Outdoor Photographer publication, and for USPS stamps. His solo exhibitions travel the country and are coveted by collectors.

The Nebraska native and University of Nebraska professor is the author and photographer of “On Ancient Wings -- The Sandhill Cranes of North America” and of “Great Plains -- America’s Lingering Wild.
