Former BLM Employee Files Lawsuit Against Agency

CASPER, Wyo. (AP) - A former Bureau of Land Management employee at the Casper Field Office in Wyoming has filed a lawsuit against the agency.
Bruce Parker said in the lawsuit filed earlier this week that he faced discrimination due to a disability and retaliation for reporting inappropriate sexual behavior among co-workers, Parker is seeking an unspecified amount for lost leave time, lost wages and benefits, emotional distress, anxiety, embarrassment and loss of professional reputation.
Parker e-mailed a complaint in December 2006 to the state's Equal Employment Opportunity office concerning what he described as sexually explicit language and inappropriate contact between two co-workers.
Parker says his schedule was then changed for punitive reasons, that his work performance was criticized, and that co-workers ostracized him.
Parker says stress caused him health problems and he resigned in
April 2009.
