Forest Service Road 226 Open

The U.S. Forest Service has reopened Forest Service Road 226, which is in the Medicine Wheel Ranger District of the Bighorn National Forest.

The road is south of Woodchuck Pass, and east of Antelope Butte. The road was closed to through traffic due to extensive damage where it crossed a tributary of Willett Creek.

Forest Service personnel announced Friday that the crossing had been rerouted to a different location and the damage repaired. The project was funded in part by a grant from the Wyoming State Trails Program.
