Flooding Likely Again At Glendo State Park

According to preliminary reports by the Bureau of Reclamation, higher than normal snowpack levels in the Medicine Bow National Forest and other Wyoming mountain ranges indicate that a second year of flooding at Glendo State Park is likely.

State Parks Administrator Domenic Bravo says that the advance warning of potential flooding had given staff time to prepare.

Bravo said that despite the high water levels last year at Glendo, no visitors were denied entry to the park, and that some anglers and recreationists actually reported some of the best fishing and boating that they have ever experienced at the park.
