Flood Preparations

With the recent precipitation that the area has received, the possibility of flooding is on people’s minds. Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Bruce Edwards said that rivers and streams are full and if the weather heats up quickly, we might have some flooding.

Edwards said that most locals will know how to react in the event of flooding. He continued that using common sense is important, especially when dealing with running water.

Edwards said that if you need flood assistance or simply would like to report an area that is experiencing floods, call dispatch at 672-2413.
