First-Ever Bottoms Up Bash

Colon cancer is the third leading cause of death for both men and women collectively. Saturday night was the first-ever “Bottoms Up Bash,” a night set aside to raise awareness about colon cancer and raise funds for Dana's Hope.

Held at the Historic Sheridan Inn, it was a packed house. Dana is a three year colon cancer survivor and the one thing that held her was hope.

The night was focused on awareness.

Townsend is not only a survivor, but a believer. She funded most of the expenses for the Bottoms Up Bash with hopes that any money raised will go to make this an annual event. For her, it's a passion.

March is Colon Cancer Awareness Month.
