First Blast of Winter is on Its Way

Much of northeast Wyoming will receive its first blast of winter as the National Weather Service in Billings has issued a winter weather advisory in effect for the area until early Sunday evening. Meteorologist Albert Richmond says that the storm could end up being quite significant.

Richmond says that those traveling will want to prepare for the worst.

Richmond said that while the storm is expected to be done by late Saturday night, early Sunday morning, cold temperatures will remain for a few days, as highs Sunday and Monday are predicted to be in the 30's.
