Firefighter Compensation Ordinance Passes

Firefighter Compensation Ordinance Passes

The Buffalo City Ordinance, No. 1376, which will better compensate the city's firefighters for time spent preparing for and actually on fire calls, passed its third and final reading at the last city council meeting.

Buffalo Mayor Mike Johnson, at one of the earlier readings of the ordinance, explained what it will change.

The council passed the ordinance unanimously and no public comment was offered.
