Fire Closure Area Reduced

Officials with the Bighorn National Forest have announced another reduction in the closure area related to the Gilead wildfire.

The new boundaries open up 371 acres to the northeast and 13,064 acres to the southwest of the fire perimeter.

The Gilead fire sits at 8,189 acres today and is reported to be 61 percent contained.
