The Sheridan City Council will hold their final meeting of 2017 Monday night. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

The Council will be considering a resolution authorizing the City to apply for a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant through the Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources. Sheridan Mayor Roger Miller said the $350,000 grant, if approved, would be used for prep work at the proposed site of the Doubleday Baseball Complex in north Sheridan.

Miller said the Council will also receive an update from City Public Works Director Lane Thompson and WYDOT District Engineer Scott Taylor on the North Sheridan Interchange Project.

The Council will also consider awarding the bid for the West Works Waterline project and vote on the third and final reading of an ordinance adopting the National Electrical Code. The meeting will get underway at 7 pm in Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of Sheridan City Hall. The meeting will also be broadcast on AM 1410 KWYO.
