Festival of Trees Benefits Special Olympics Athletes

The 20th annual Festival of Trees dinner and silent auction to benefit Sheridan's Special Olympics athletes kicks off at 5:30 Thursday night. $25 at the door buys a seat for dinner at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. Robert Lynam of Easter Seals is helping organize the event, and said the funds raised benefit athletes of all ages who participate in events throughout the rest of the year.

This is the first year the Festival of Trees will be hosted at the Fairgrounds. Tickets are available at the door or in advance at the Cottonwood Kitchen Shop and Annie Greenthumb's.
