Farmers Market Continues To Grow In Sheridan

Several years ago the Sheridan Farmer’s Market began to draw crowds to downtown Sheridan. The first several markets were held on Grinnell Plaza. Two years ago, the event moved to Whitney Commons. Construction and detours may have limited access somewhat, but not enough to keep the market from being more popular than ever. Sheridan College’s Renee King is pleased with the growth in the program.

Last night was the first Farmer’s Market of 2009. If you missed it, you will have eight more chances. Whitney Commons will be full of breads, fruit, vegetables, live music, and more on Thursday nights into September.
