Fair Board Moving Forward With Design Work To Remedy Infield Drainage

The recently adopted Sheridan County Fairgrounds master plan called for implementation in several phases. The engineering work on the new first phase of the project has begun. Drainage problems throughout the infield and arenas can sometimes delay events several days after a storm has left the area. Sheridan Fairgrounds Director Sharon Nadeau says time is running short.

If the project is ready to get started right away, the entire Phase One could be complete by next spring in time for the 2010 season.
