We conclude our series on the possibility of curbside recycling in Sheridan with a look at how recycling benefits the City Landfill. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.

Throughout the week we've told you about the City of Sheridan's initiative to expand their recycling program by implementing residential curbside recycling in 2015, and what it would take to make that happen. City Public Works Director Nic Bateson says that recycling in general adds life to the landfill.

Bateson points out that expanding the landfill doesn't come cheap.

As we reported in an earlier story, City staff intend to bring a business plan and proposal for a city wide curbside recycling program to the City Council in either February or March of 2015.
