'Evening Of One Acts' Begins Thursday

The Sheridan College theater department's "Evening of One Acts" from the No Frills theater company begins Thursday night at the Wyo Theater.

First showing will be tonight at 7:30 pm and there will be performances each Friday and Saturday night. There will be an additional Saturday matinee performance at 2 pm.

The presentation will be about 90 minutes long, made up of six one-act plays.

Theater instructor at Sheridan College, Danny Lee Hodnett tells us why one-act plays are worth checking out.

Hodnett said one-acts will include a scene about waiting in line at the DMV, one about a lady who handles snakes as a religious practice, and a comedy titled "Labor Pains".

Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students.
