An error in Governor Matt Mead's proposed budget for the biennium could have a negative impact on the City of Sheridan. With sales and use tax revenues continuing to decline, the City can ill afford another hit to their general fund says Sheridan Mayor Dave Kinskey.

Kinskey said that the Governor's budget director has informed the legislature of the budgeting miscue and was told that the mistake would be corrected. He added that once corrected, that would put the City at a break even point compared to the last several years.
