Enjoy Fireworks, Food and Fun During Light Up Buffalo

To help kick off the Christmas shopping season, this year's Light Up Buffalo events will be happening all day Saturday.

Once organized by the now defunct Buffalo Downtown Association and in jeopardy of not happening this year, the Buffalo Future Farmers of America (FFA) stepped up to sponsor and put on the Light Up Buffalo events.

They will offer a Christmas movie with free admission at the Buffalo Theater at 1:30 that afternoon, with concessions available for purchase, cookie decorating at St. Luke's Episcopal Church from 1:30 to 4:30, both sponsored by the Buffalo FFA.

Sloppy Joes, chips, and a drink will be available to buy at Crazy Woman Square, offered by FFA Alumni.

Then the main event will be at 6pm as former State Senator Bruce Burns wraps up the day's festivities with a fireworks display in Prosinkski Park.

The Light Up Buffalo events are sponsored in part by Oldies 105-9 and the Country Bounty.
