The sandbags keep piling up outside the City's Service Center thanks to the countless volunteers who have donated their time filling sandbags.

Emergency management officials with Sheridan County and the City of Sheridan along with a throng of volunteers have been busy filling sandbags at the City Service Center.

Sheridan Police Chief Richard Adriaens says that they just received another shipment from the State Office of Homeland Security.

Sandbags are available on an as needed basis at the City Service Center at 1148 KROE Lane.

Sheridan Fire-Rescue Fire Chief Patrick Reitz says that the Emergency Management Team will continue to have their eyes on the situation in the coming days.

Police Chief Adriaens stresses this important reminder to those who witness flooding.
