Eighth Annual Wolf Creek Wrangle This Saturday

At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 17 Eaton’s Ranch will host the eighth annual Wolf Creek Wrangle run/hike at Eaton’s Dude Ranch in Sheridan county. Anyone who wants to hike or run at the Wrangle can register at Foot of the Bighorns or the Sport Stop. Signups are also available online at http://www.itsyourrace.com/ or at 8:00 a.m. at the ranch on race day.

This is a family-friendly event with a free kid’s hike. Also, 30 Sheridan College nursing students will lead children’s activities during the races.

Participants can choose to compete in three different trail runs: the 5K which will cost $45.00, the 10K which will be $50.00, and the half marathon for $55.00. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each category.

Immediately following the races there will be a barbeque lunch that is free for competitors and $8.00 a person for non-participants. Eaton’s will donate all of the lunch’s proceeds to the Habitat For Humanity organization.
