Monday's solar eclipse will be especially remembered by one Dayton family.

Finn Hardesty, third child of Jennifer and TJ Hardesty, was born at 12:05 p.m. Monday at Sheridan Memorial Hospital, just after the solar eclipse reached totality.

Jennifer Hardesty said her contractions started right at the beginning of the eclipse, just when the moon touched the sun, prompting her and her husband to make a mad dash to the hospital.

Finn weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces and is 21 inches long. He joins two sisters, Joy, 11, and Kayla, 9.
