The Jim Gatchell Museum's Echoes Of The Past Cemetery Tours begin tonight and will continue through this weekend and again next weekend at Willow Grove Cemetery in Buffalo.

The tours are a step back into Buffalo's past to learn more about early residents of Buffalo and Johnson County through a night-time tour of the graves and a history lesson from the “spirits” of those who have come and gone before us.

Local actors research their parts and then teach those tour guests through an interactive skit describing their characters and their lives.

Jennifer Romanoski, Museum Educator at the Jim Gatchell Museum, tells us more about the characters and those who will be portraying them.

The tours are offered at dusk August 9, 10, 11, and again August 16, 17 and 18.

The cost is $20 per person and those interested can sign up at the museum. Some dates are full, but others still have openings.
Call the Jim Gatchell Museum at 684-9331 for more information.
