Drum And Bugle Corps Continues Their Fundraising Efforts For Trip To Philadelphia

The 7th Cavalry Drum and Bugle Corps in Sheridan is in the process of raising funds for their trip to Philadelphia, where they have been invited to perform at the 4th of July parade in the City of Brotherly Love. Their overall goal is to raise $60,000 for the trip, $41,000 of which is for travel expenses, with the other $19,000 being for new instruments and uniforms.

Drum and Bugle Corps Manager Conrad Namtvedt says that the fundraising is rolling right along.

There will be a silent auction fundraiser tonight at 6:30 at the Big Horn Mountain Eagles Lodge in Sheridan. There will also be a performance by the Drum and Bugle Corps and Earl Wear and Haywire will be taking the stage at 8 o'clock. Along with tonight's silent auction to help raise funds for the trip, the Drum and Bugle Corps is holding Saturday night dinners at the American Legion Post #7 on Brooks Street. The fundraiser dinners will be February 6th, 13th and 20th from 5 to 7:30 pm.
