Don't Forget Caring and Sharing Programs

Johnson County's Caring and Sharing programs are underway, so don't forget to give a little this year if you can.

Toys For Tots are collecting new, unwrapped toys to give to area kids this Christmas. Just drop off the toys before December 17th to participating businesses or the Chamber of Commerce. Cash donations are also welcome as are donations of tape and wrapping paper.

Angel Trees, located at area businesses, allow you to give a gift to a child this Christmas. Pick a tag, fill the wish list and return the unwrapped items to the Buffalo Senior Center or Chamber by December 16th.
Participating are: DJ's Thriftway, IGA, Johnson Chiropractic, ANB Bank, First Interstate Bank and the Bank of Buffalo.

Senior Stockings can be picked up at the senior center of chamber of commerce to fill with gifts for senior citizens. Fill the wish lists and return them to the Buffalo Senior Center by December 18th.

The Hat and Mitten Tree is located at the Bank of Buffalo. Donations of hats, mittens, and scarves are collected to be distributed to area children who need them. Drop off your donations at the Bank of Buffalo before December 16th.

The Christmas Book Drive is handled through First Northern Bank of Buffalo, and they will be collecting books for children of all ages.
The books are distributed to area children through the Care and Share Program. Drop off donations at the bank before December 16th.
