DeSmet Deal With JoCo Looks Optimistic

Sheridan County Commissioner, Tom Ringley, confirmed with Sheridan Media the the county's meeting with the Game and Fish Commission in Rock Springs has yielded favorable results for negotiation of a $3 million water rights lease with Johnson County. Ringley said representatives from the Game and Fish requested a small number of minor changes on the lease, so Sheridan County will work with Johnson County to get the changes implemented into the agreement. Otherwise, the situation looks favorable for the lease to go through by January.
