The Sheridan City Council in November, on a 4-3 vote, elected to appoint new board of directors for the Downtown Development Authority and to have new bylaws established. At a City Council study session Monday night, City Attorney Brendon Kerns presented the Council with several options to fund the DDA moving forward.

Kerns said that the Council is requesting additional information from the State before making a decision on the funding method for the DDA.

Kerns said that first reading of an ordinance that will include the proposed changes to the DDA would most likely be brought to the Council for consideration at their second regularly scheduled meeting in February.
