Dayton Town Council Report

Dayton Town Council Report

Monday night's Dayton Town Council found incumbent Mayor Bob Wood and incumbent Councilman Bob Alley sworn into office, along with new Councilor Dennis Wagner.

Outgoing Councilor Roberta Billingsley was recognized for her sixteen years of service, says Mayor Wood.

For a Dayton agenda, there were several items on which the Council took action. The main item, Mayor Wood tells us.

Other action items, all of which were approved, include: 2nd Reading of Resolution #335 – setting rates for raw water utility service; 1st Reading of Ordinance #366 – amending the zoning ordinance for the purpose of adding rules and regulations for a recreational vehicle park; 1st Reading of Ordinance #367 – amending the zoning ordinance for the purpose of amending 17.32.010 permitted uses in business zoning; and purchase of a 2006 GMC pickup.

Say What?

Why is the town buying another used pickup? Who are we buying it from? Who is it for and why is it needed? Will it still be allowed to be driven home even if the employee lives outsides the town? Didn't Big Budget Bob just come out complaining of lack of finances in the town and this is why he needs to raise all the utility rates? Is this another sweetheart deal that is becoming common place in lil o' Dayton? Remember Bob.. This Ain't Jackson!

please change my what ever from I hear voices to SAY WHAT! hope you can do this for thanks.
