Council Chambers at Sheridan City Hall was the site Tuesday afternoon for a special ceremony proclaiming August, 20th as Bernice Marshall Day. While serving as First Lady of Sheridan in 1982, Bernice began a project to collect photos and information on every mayor that has served the City of Sheridan. Marshall comments on the extensive project that she did in preparation for Sheridan's Centennial.

The ceremony also served as a re-dedication of the photo exhibit, as nearly all of the mayor's portraits in the City's history adorn the south and west walls of Council Chambers.
