Daniels Fund announces 2010 scholars

24 high school seniors from around Wyoming have been named Daniels Fund Scholars. David Sampson from Sheridan High School is one of the 24, and Daniels Fund Vice President Peter Droege explains what the scholarship means for Sampson.

182 students have been awarded scholarships in the 10 years the Daniels Fund has been in existence, and over $22 million has been awarded to nonprofits in Wyoming over that time as well. Cable television pioneer Bill Daniels established the fund a decade ago to provide grants and scholarships in Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, and Colorado.
