Dozens of people filled the Sheridan Senior Center Friday afternoon to celebrate New Year's Eve a day early.

People had a choice of the bubbly or lemonade to toast the New Year at noon, and the Canary Joe Band donated their time to provide music, featuring vocals by band member, and Senior Center “Fun” Director Jane Perkins.

Among those attending the event was Darlene McNair. She's been to the event in previous years.

The event included lunch, served from 11:30 til 12:45, and was followed by Bingo.
