Court Finds RMA Employees Not Guilty

Former Rocky Mountain Ambulance employees Brand Stewart and Alex Carmody were found not guilty Wednesday in Sheridan County Circuit Court. Both Stewart and Carmody were charged with battery this summer after an incident on July 15th where they responded to a call of an elderly man suffering from heat stroke on Smith Creek Road near Dayton. Court documents state that the two were unnecessarily rough in their handling of 75-year-old Earl Bemis.

Both Carmody and Stewart are no longer employees with Rocky Mountain Ambulance.
