County Has One Applicant for Retail Liquor License, So Far

Only one business has applied, so far, for the retail liquor license that became available in Sheridan County with the new census figures.

Kim Hein, who is the county’s chief deputy clerk, gave us the details.

She named the applicant as The Barn in Big Horn LLC. The deadline to apply is by the end of the month. The availability of the liquor license was announced during the commission meeting held the first week of the month. At that time, it was announced that the fee for the license will range from $1,000 to a little more than $1,600 for a year. A retail license allows sale of alcoholic and malt beverages for consumption on premise, off-premise or both.
