Now that the Land Use Fees for Sheridan County are incorporated into one document, County staff must bring a proposal to adjust those fees to the County Commissioners on an annual basis. The fee adjustment recommendations were brought to the Commissioners for consideration Tuesday and were approved. County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger says that there were five fee increases that were adopted by the County.

Liesinger explains that there were several fee adjustments that received the same increase.

The Commissioners approved a Professional Services Agreement with EnTech, Inc. to design an RV park at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds on the east side of the main arena. That agreement is not to exceed $17,035.

The Commissioners also awarded the bid to Ameri-Can Engineering in the amount of $54,601 for the mobile restroom and shower facility to be located in the infield area of the Fairgrounds.

Liesinger said that he appreciated the proactive approach that has been taken by the Fair Board and Facilities Director Melissa Albrecht in regards to addressing some of the issues that have plagued the Fairgrounds for years.
