County Approves Trabing Contract

Johnson County's Commissioners have approved the chair to sign a contract to pave a section of Trabing Road, should the contract become available from the Wyoming Department of Transportation before the commissioner's next meeting.

Cheryl Benner, Administrative Assistant at County Road and Bridge, explained the situation to the commissioners.

The commissioners approved the request.

Volunteers of America gave a quick report to the commissioners, saying numbers of juveniles served by the program have remained steady through the third quarter.
Todd Richins, with VOA, told the commissioners they had met with Judge Cundiff this quarter and discussed juvenile probation. He said although they had some questions remaining, they felt the meeting went well.

Also, the commissioners approved a one-day catering permit for Taylor's Invasion Bar to provide dinner and refreshments for the County Employee and Board Dinner this month.

The county also adjusted the reimbursement of mileage for county employees to match the level set by the Internal Revenue Service.
The change was from the existing level of 56.5 cents per mile to 56 cents per mile, and will take effect January 1, 2014.
