A resolution was recently approved by the Sheridan City Council setting the dates for a number of community clean up events. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

This year’s Trees for Trash and Community Clean-Up Day will be held on Saturday, May 4, and the spring and fall free landfill days will be May 11, and October 26. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts says that they started holding a “community clean-up day” on the same day as Trees for Trash a couple of years ago.

Roberts said that City staff will once again plan and coordinate the “Community Clean-up” event, a big part of which will be soliciting volunteer groups to adopt public areas within the community to clean-up through trash collection and disposal.
