The Sheridan City Council held a special meeting Monday night to approve the selection of Wyoming Machinery for a lease option acquisition of a new motor grader.

City Public Works Director Lane Thompson says that there are two motor graders in the City’s fleet.

The annual lease that was approved by the Council was in the amount of $27,000. Following the approval, the Council held a strategic planning retreat where they covered four strategic planning initiatives and listened to presentations about legal issues and code of conduct as a councilor. We’ll have more from the strategic planning retreat for you in future stories.
