The Sheridan City Council held a study session Monday night where they received an update from a consultant on the status of an ordinance to regulate wireless communications facilities within the City. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter has the details.

A couple of months ago the City entered into a contract with Bob Duchen, Vice President and Co-Founder of River Oaks Communications, to craft an ordinance that would regulate wireless communications facilities in Sheridan. Duchen, told the Council Monday night that draft regulations are being looked at by City staff.

Also from the study session, the Council was presented with several options moving forward with the City’s two new bar and grill licenses. The City received no applications for the two licenses and will consider extending the application deadline till next spring. We’ll have more details on the bar and grill licenses in a future story.
