The long term future of the Kendrick Park Pool remains uncertain as officials with the City of Sheridan continue to debate what to do with the pool that is celebrating its 80th birthday this year.

The Sheridan City Council Monday discussed the possibility of having the pool in some aspect be one of the projects included on the capital facilities tax or the optional one cent tax.

Council President Jesus Rios said that perhaps an update to the assessment of the pool that was done in 2014 would be appropriate.

City Administrator Mark Collins said that the City will begin to take a look what it would cost to have an updated assessment of the pool done as well as a plan for the pool for the next 15 to 20 years.
