The Sheridan City Council will soon be considering third and final reading of an ordinance establishing regulations for mobile vendors in the City.

At the request of Mayor Roger Miller and Councilman Patrick Henderson, staff presented the Council with an update to the proposed fees during a Council study session this week. City Community Development Director Brian Craig said the proposed permit fees have been raised slightly for the annual permit.

The proposal that is currently on the table and that will be brought before the Council for consideration Monday night in the form of a resolution has the fees at $300 a year, $50 for 7 days and $600 for a mobile vending court.

Be sure to join us Thursday, where we’ll hear from at least one mobile vendor in Sheridan who doesn’t agree with the proposed fees.
