Council Candidates on Attainable Housing

Today we will hear more from the candidates for Sheridan City Council on the topic of attainable housing. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Thursday we heard from Sheridan City Council candidates Erin Hanke and Aaron Linden on how the City and County can be involved in solving the need for attainable housing. Now we’ll hear the reaction from the other candidates. Candidate Clint Beaver says that what isn’t needed is another study on the issue.

Candidate and current Councilman Patrick Henderson was next to answer the question.

Candidate Vixie Miller had this response to the attainable housing question.

Jacob Martin was the last candidate to offer his thoughts on the matter.

Miller, Martin, Linden, Hanke, and Beaver, are vying for the three available four-year seats on the Council, while Henderson and Victoria Hernandez, who was not in attendance at the candidate forum, are running for the a 2-year unexpired term on the Council.
